A jacket for kids with 600 fill power goose down! Translation - keeps them very, very warm. Not only is it warm, it's got pure Spyder flare that makes the Mini Yellowstone a very hot jacket.Mom's Thoughts: I am one of those mothers that feel bad sending my kids out to play in an inadequate jacket. They spend more time out in the snow than I do, so their winter jacket should at least be as warm as mine. Problem: since most kids outgrow their winter coats after one season, parents don't want to spend a lot of money on outerwear, so most manufacturers focus on price point rather than performance. This coat from Spyder is not too pricy, but it sure looks like it is. The green is the color of an iguana (or something from the reptile family??). It changes colors when it moves - from green to a hint of rust. The black is classic Spyder with a web embroidered in Red on the removeable hood. As cute as this coat looks, however, it's the fact that it is a 600 fill goose down that sold us on it.
Unfortunately, Spyder is no longer making this coat in toddler sizes, so once these are gone, we can't get more!
