Mom's Thoughts: We prefer snow pants with a "bib" that provide greater warmth, better chance for a good fit (you can rely partially on the overalls to hold them up instead of just elastic at the waist), and less of a chance of cold snow down the back after a fall. However, lot's of kids see these as very baby-ish. We had a 4 year old in the store with the choice between the Spyder Mini Expedition Snow Pants and these Trek Snow Pants. The thought of having to wear the Mini Expedition bibs caused tears. We couldn't even get him to try them on. A huge smile broke out when he saw the Mini Trek. Not sure whether it was the fact they looked like big boy pants or the spiders print, but he left a very happy customer. So, if you really want your child to wear bibs, don't even make these an option.
