Mom's Thoughts: Bibs are great for little kids because they stay up when they bend over, roll around, fall down, etc. And, snow has a harder time working it's way down their back. The Spyder snow pants are made from their heavy duty technical fabrics which mean they are waterproof, warm, and durable. Plus, Spyder bibs look cool and match the Kyd's jackets which may mean they have a greater chance of being worn and loved.

However, if you need to save money on something this winter, snow pants are the one thing that there is slightly more equality on in terms of warmth and fit. Most snow pants made these days are warm enough for a few hours of play. Here are a few things you should be aware of during your search. Make sure they are made out of a waterproof fabric. We've had a few pairs of cheap hand me downs that get sopping wet after an hour, and don't dry for 2 days. Also, if you're getting a cheaper pair of snow pants, try and look for a pair of bibs. Cheaper pants don't pay as much attention to fit. They are usually just two rectangles sewn together which will fall off of 99% of the children they are put into.
