Mom's Thoughts: I like the side velcro opening on the Cubby Mitten. It opens wide so you can really get their little hand all the way in the mitten. The wrists are long enough to fit over the cuff of their jacket creating a barrier between their skin and the snow. A velcro cinch strap keeps everything in place. Plus, you have the option of threading a removable cord through their sleeves so one mitten isn't lost on the walk to the ski hill or in the lodge during their cocoa break! From personal experience, this can ruin - or at least seriously delay - a day!
