This baby is Patagonia's warmest, completely weather-resistant insulated and hooded jacket. The durable ripstop polyester shell has a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish and houses 200-g Quallofil® insulation that's favored for its lightweight compressibility and ability to maintain warmth in all conditions. Construction and detailing are wholly bent on providing comfort and defying the elements: the polyester nylon lining glides smoothly over layers; 2-layer elbow and pocket panels prevent wet-through and add abrasion-resistance; the head-hugging elasticized hood is super soft; the zipper has a full-length wind flap and a zipper garage to eliminate chin chafe; elasticized cuffs secure the fit and seal out cold. With cozy patched handwarmer pockets and a hand-me-down ID label inside. Relaxed fit for easy layering.
