Children, especially very young children, have more fragile eyes than adults. Ultraviolet rays - the most dangerous type of radiation - are at their worst if reflected off of surfaces such as sand, water and snow. Sounds like the places kids love most!
These sunglasses from Julbo are not sized down adult glasses. They are designed to be a fun looking but highly functional (they can withstand the extra abuse) and protective pair of sunglasses for kids age 3-6 years old. The very dark lens gives maximum protection in bright light conditions. The lenses have an 8 base curvature wrap which gives maximum coverage and minimal light leakage on the sides; it also provides excellent peripheral vision - important for our active kids. Spectron X6 lens offers 100% UV and 90% VLR protection. Brown tint with anti-glare coating.
