In our opinion, this child carrier is the best buy for the money. The main difference between the popular Kid Comfort II and the Kid Comfort I, is the storage capacity. The Kid Comfort II has 1100 cubic inches of storage compared to the Kid Comfort I's 600 cubic inches. The torso range - at 15-20 inches - of the Kid Comfort I is also slightly less than the Kid Comfort II.

However, the main features of comfort for both adult and child remain. The lightweight frame, thick padded shoulder straps and waist belt, combined with the adjustable torso make it easier to carry your load longer. Given that most children weigh under 30 pounds for several years, a carrying capacity of 48.5 pounds is more than sufficient.
