The Little Matterhorn from Columbia Kids is a fantastic value. And since Columbia has been in the busines a while it's loaded with features parents know are important. It's a lightweight waterproof, windproof shell fabric completely lined in soft, MTR fleece. Mom's Thoughts: We love this particular snowsuit for toddlers because it is not bulky. It has the freedom of movement a fleece bunting offers, but because the outer layer is a shell it has a better resistance to snow (snow clings to fleece), stays dry longer, and adds protection from the wind. The Matterhorn is not an extreme weather snowsuit(see the Spyder snowsuits for extreme cold weather protection), but it is great for those who live in milder climates with cold rain, wind and an occasional snow.
